Guaco’s heart-shaped leaves were traditionally used by Brazilian Indians for snake bites. For this reason, it earned the name ‘snake-vine’. Guaco has been used in many parts of the world for treating different ailments such as rheumatism, respiratory illnesses & digestive disorders. Guaco is high in iron and is also used in herbalism as a blood purifier.
